funk in the fog

sorry for the lack of posts lately...aug has been one hell of a month for your boy tung. trips to Vegas, SF, and Portland back to back to back. while in SF, I was able to enjoy a cool, foggy day @ Stern Grove with ops, soundboy, jerms, drei, and makunga. lucky for me, Hugh Masekela was the headliner (w/Goapele supporting). hugh still knows how to bring the funk...



also had a chance to catch up with my buddy Billy Baroo...



back to SF this weekend for Fred and Megan's Wedding. Mazal Tov!!!

Southern Rocking it

The South's great music fest was a while back now and I'm afraid the glow of the event is getting a Bit (more) dim. Things being as they are I'm just going to give you a few highlights...

and a few lowlights.

Highlights include but are not limited to the following:

Ween. Ben Harper. Hot Tuna. Ziggy Marley. Gov't Mule... for 4 hours... with Bob Weir and John Paul Jones... The Flaming Lips. The Police. Sting is hot. oops. Sasha and Digweed. And That was just on Saturday...
